Cookies
What the site keeps in your browser, and why.
Technical (always)
pmm_consentimiento: remembers what you chose in the cookie notice. Lasts six months.
pmm_sesion: only if you sign in; keeps you signed in. Lasts thirty days, or until you sign out.
pmm_interno: only in the browsers of the PlotMyMap team that switch it on, so their own visits are not counted in the statistics. Lasts one year.
pmm_google: only while you sign in with Google, to check the return is yours. Ten minutes.
The site also keeps in your browser (local storage, not cookies) your language, light or dark mode and the options of your last map, so you find it as you left it. That never leaves your browser.
Analytics (only if you accept)
_ga and _ga_…, from Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited): count visits and how the site is used, in aggregate, so we know what to improve. They last up to two years. If you do not accept, nothing from Google is loaded.
Google may process that data outside the European Union. Its policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
